This large, comfortable, 4 bedroom, 2 & 1/2 bath home offers plenty of room for families, church retreats, corporate retreats, sports teams or other groups up to 16 people.

DOWNSTAIRS

THE ENTRY

Entry way with 2 beautiful stain glass windows

Say "Hello" to the Captain in the window when you enter. Please note the beach rules posted across from the Captain.

THE SAND ROOM

To your left is the Sand Room, complete with a kitchenette that includes a microwave and refrigerator, so you can prepare a snack or keep your beverages cold before heading out to the beach. We even provide a picnic basket for your use. Those downstairs can can use the kitchenette to heat up some munchies or prepare a quick breakfast without going up to the kitchen. There is a shoe rack to hold sandy shoes and a bucket in which you may empty sandy shoes and socks. Don't tell the kids, but the beach toys are in the hidden baskets under the bench.

THE LIBRARY

The Library next to the Sand Room contains a selection of books and magazines for relaxing beach reading. Included are a selection of children's books, novels, science fiction, adventure, romance and non-fiction books. A comfortable chair and reading lamp is provided so you can curl up with your favorite book and relax. Extra chairs are stored in the small closet across from the book case.

THE BIRD ROOM - BEDROOM #1

The Bird Room has two double beds, a large mirrored closet, ceiling fan, television with cable, VCR and DVD player for your convenience.

THE BEACH ROOM - BEDROOM #2

The Beach Room has two comfortable twin beds, a large mirrored closet, television with built-in VCR and cable. It opens out to the Patio.

THE SHELL ROOM - BEDROOM #3

The Shell Room has one queen bed, a large mirrored closet and television with built-in VCR and cable.

DOWNSTAIRS BATH

The downstairs bath includes a tub with a shower. The massager shower can be used to sooth or clean up the kids after a day on the beach. Extra bath towels are stored in the downstairs hall closet.

PATIO

The private, fenced patio is a wonderful place to enjoy the quiet serenity of the area. It is a perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea while listening to the surf. The Patio includes a lounge chair for sun-bathing as well as a love-seat, bench, chair and table for conversation, snacks or drinks. The Patio provides an enclosed space where the children may play outside. Cushions for the patio furniture are stored in the closet of the Beach Room.

GARAGE

The two-car garage contains a Washer and Dryer for your use. Also included are extra chairs and an extra electric Bar-B-Que in case you have a big, hungry crowd. The garage has an automatic garage door opener for your convenience. Three additional cars may be parked in the driveway so your group does not have to look for on-street parking.

UPSTAIRS

When you come up the stairs you will encounter our friendly, colorful shark. Don't worry, he won't bite.

KITCHEN

The large, fully equipped kitchen allows you to create wonderful home-cooked meals for your gang. Included is an electric stove with oven, microwave, crock-pot, toaster-oven, automatic coffee maker and dishwasher. The kitchen bar seats three, allowing you to serve snacks or quick meals as needed, put on a buffet, or serve drinks.

GREAT ROOM

The large, comfortable, Great Room is the perfect place for your group to hang out, play games, watch TV, talk, entertain guests and relax. It is arranged so your group can get all together, or break up into separate activities depending on everyone's interests. The Great Room opens onto the breezeway that connects the front and back decks decks, so you can also enjoy the great outdoors.

Included in the Great Room is a Foos Ball table for your entertainment and a 46" TV with cable, DVD and VHS, so you can watch sports, movies or your favorite shows. Bring some tunes, as there is a CD / i-Pod / MP-3 player for your listening pleasure. Two comfortable queen futons and a queen sofa bed provide additional sleeping facilities for large groups. There is a wired high-speed internet connection in the Great Room, and free high-speed wireless internet access throughout the house.

The expandable dining table can seat up to 10 when all leaves are used. Extra table leaves and chairs are stored in the closet across from the kitchen. The round glass table can seat an additional six and serves as a convenient place to play cards or board games, assemble puzzles or just chat.

MASTER BEDROOM

The Master Bedroom contains a king bed, a television with cable and DVD player, a walk-in closet. and a bay window overlooking the sand dunes and lagoon. The television cabinet contains a library of over a hundred of DVD's and VHS tapes for your viewing pleasure, including material suitable for children. The walk-in closet contains a selection of board games, puzzles, card games and toys, as well as bedding for the futons and sofa bed and extra towels, linens, pillows and comforters. The Master Bedroom opens onto the breezeway that connects the front and back decks, so you can easily step outside for some fresh air or to listen to the crashing of the waves.

MASTER BATH

The Master Bath include a soaking tub and a shower in the tub.

UPSTAIRS BATH

A half-bath is located next to the Great Room, allowing your guests or those staying in the Great Room a quick and convenient place to freshen up.

REAR VIEW BBQ DECK

The large, rear view deck is the perfect place for Bar-B-Ques, entertaining, evening drinks, bird watching, observing the antique aircraft take-off from the Oceano Airport or watching the sunrise with a cup of morning coffee. The deck overlooks the nearby lagoon and sand dunes. On most evenings you will be serenaded by the crashing waves and the quietly croaking frogs. The deck includes a gas Bar-B-Que, table and chairs for convenient outdoor dining. The deck can be accessed from the Great Room or Master Bedroom.

FRONT VIEW DECK

The front deck looks onto the beach. It contains two love-seats and a table, making it the perfect place to observe a romantic sunset, do a little beach reading, or enjoy the fresh sea air. The deck can be accessed from the Great Room or Master Bedroom.

The Birds of a Feather Vacation home has free high-speed wireless internet access and free local telephone calls. Somewhere in the house is our treasure chest of "gold doubloons". If you find it you may take a doubloon home with you as a souvenir of your visit!
